Joan A. Adamson, affectionately known as Jo, passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home in Boise, Idaho on May 10,2025. Born on, 1934, in Swan Lake, Idaho.
On May 31, 1950. She married Kent (KD) Adamson. Together, Joan and KD raised three children, Teresea, Scott and Suzi.
Jo is survived by two of their children: Scott (Jill) and Suzi (Bill); grandchildren Kevin, Vaughn, Kent D., Jason, Adam, Danielle, and Kyndra; fifteen great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved spouse KD, daughter Teresa, and sister LaRae.
For many years, Jo worked in the school lunch program, contributing to the well-being of countless students. She also supported several charitable organizations including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Twin Towers Fund, Shriners Hospital for Children, and the Jimmy Swaggart Foundation.
A graveside service will be held on May 30, at 10 a.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery. 9600 W. Hall Rd. in Boise Idaho 83714. Arrangements are by Cloverdale Funeral Home at 1100 N. Cloverdale Rd. in Boise, ID 83713. Jo will be laid to rest beside her husband KD on the day before what would have been their 75th wedding anniversary.
